We are pleased to announce that the explosion hazard associated with early test models of the Cheese-o-Matic 2000 have been resolved. Production units will include a fix which reduces the risk of explosion by approximately 18% compared to beta test units. Beta models can be upgraded with the purchase of GASKET31 below.

The Cheese-2000 and Cheese-o-Matic 2000 represent a significant leap forward in design compared to the previous-generation Cheese-1000. The Cheese-1000 has been on the market since 1998, with tens of units sold. The result of 25 years of market research and product development, the Cheese-2000 adds an attractive "CHEESE" decal and extends the dispenser tube by approximately one-eighth of an inch. The new Cheese-o-Matic 2000 drops the pushbutton in favor of motion-activated operation, at the expense of some additional noise and vibration (does not exceed 140dB in normal operation, 120dB with optional "night mode" upgrade). Both products are available in right or left-handed configurations and in special ladies' models.
